Waaaaa...!!!

My baby lost her first tooth. Did you you hear me? MY BABY LOST HER FIRST TOOTH! Goodbye tiny, cute, white, shiny baby teeth :( Hello huge, nasty, yellow, jagged permanent teeth! I am so sad... It's been loose for some time now, and the pemanent tooth was coming up behind the baby tooth. I could tell that tooth would never come out on it's own. I told her that I need to floss her teeth (I would secretly twist the dental floss and pull tight), but that didn't work. I tried moving it all around with my fingers, and that didn't work. Finally she had enough! It was bleeding and she wouldn't let me touch it anymore. I apologized, and told her that I'd get her some tissue for the blood. With the tissue in hand, I got a good grip and pulled quick. I said, "k, I got it, the tooths out". She said, "no you didn't". I said "look in the mirror". And for once, I wasn't lying...it was really out!

Childrens Museum

Every Thursday is my "day off". My neigbor watches Carly after school, so I have the entire day KID-FREE! It seems as though EVERY field trip, class party, doctor appointment is scheduled on a Thursday, or maybe I'm just a little greedy with my free day. ANYWAY, this field trip for Carly's kindergarten class was on THURSDAY (go figure). And because I love her so much (maybe even more than my free time?), I decided to accompany her and about 100 other kindergarteners....FUN! Really though, she's growing up way too fast, and I don't want to miss it!

Tuesday Morning!

Frank and I have a breakfast date the first Tuesday of each month. We've been doing it for over a year now. We just go after the kids leave for school. It's pretty fun to be together for breakfast. We try to go to different places, but we've been LOVING good old Village Inn. These were taken BEFORE we licked the plate - YUM!
