Christmas
This year we were excited to have Frank's mom Anita (and Toby, of course) spend the night on Christmas Eve. Stacy and her family also spent Christmas Eve with us at our house. We had our usual Chinese takeout...yum! After that, we played the water game, read christmas stories, then the elves left the pj's on the porch...

Nutcracker Tradition
Our annual Nutcracker tradition. We get dinner at Noodles & Company, then head over the Clytie Adams Nutcracker at Weber State University. Always something to look forward to!

Art Show
Anyone who knows my dad knows his obsession with art. His own dad was an artist, and my dad picked it up later in life and hasn't put it down since. He has painted hundreds of canvases and this year my sister Julie had the great idea of having an art show at her house for him to display and sell his own art. Me, Stacy, Julie and my mom all joined together to make the night a special one. Catering, live music, displays, lighting, invitations, etc. It was a good night.

Kaysville Brown
Well, the coach decided to call it quits so he could coach his other son, so the team was dissolved. Logan tried out for one competition league, but didn't make it :( We were at a crossroads, so Logan decided this would be as good of time as any to try football. To be honest, I was more than a bit concerned. #1, Logan didn't seem aggressive enough for that kind of contact sport, and #2, All these boys have been playing since they were 8. I felt like he was a little to old to "try it out", but he was sure, so we went with it. Football is a draft so there are three coaches for his age group. Logan was picked by coach Toone. I was re-thinking my support when I saw him on the line against boys twice his size. I nearly ran on that field to whisk him away to safety!
The league started with 64 teams, cut to 32, then 16, then 8, then 4, then 2!! Logan's team made it to the mini bowl held at Weber State University, where they fought a good fight, but were unfortunatley defeated :( But a huge accomplishment, nonetheless.
