ef-fi-cien-cy

efficiency/i-fish-uhn-see/adj./

1.ability to accomplish a job with a minimum expenditure of time and energy. 2.the concurrent execution of two or more jobs by a single unit.

That's my boy! Our nightly routine begins at about 7:15. The boys get in their pj's, clean up, brush teeth, say prayers, and then they read in bed until I turn out the lights at 8:00. While they are reading, I put out clothes for the next day (per Logan's request, I arrange the articles of clothing in the order they are to be put on(socks, underwear, under shirt, top shirt, pants)...

You will note that Logan's clothes are missing from this picture because after they have gone to bed, he will often get OUT of his pajama's, and INTO his clothes for the next day, so he doesn't have to do it when he wakes up. He re-makes his bed, and sleeps on top of the covers so he doesn't even have to do THAT in the morning!

So this morning, when asking the usual questions: Did you get dressed? Did you make your bed? "YES!" was his proud reply:)

I am so glad to know that not just my kid does that. I think they are little too smart for us as their parents!!! I love to hear your Logan stories!!!

That is great, more of us should do that really. We would all be much more efficient.

I need to do that! I wish my kids would do that some mornings, cause boy they can move slow! Are you up for another double date some time? This time I will ensure that we actually do something.
