Carly's 8!!! After her Cherry Hill Birthday party was rained out last year, she decided she wanted to try it again. We had already done the cherry theme last year, so this year, we made it a beach theme.
The Invites
The invitations were attached to flip flops that they were to bring to the party for part of the craft. We tied colorful water balloons to the straps to make ruffles on the flip flops.
When the girls arrived, they played with a bunch of beach balls in the front yard. We played a game, then opened presents...
Then it was off to Cherry Hill! I went early to set up towels and balloons, and a cooler with food and colorful treats. When we got there, the girls swam for a while, then came back for the flip flop craft. Surprising to me that they wanted to do this so bad!

I'm just dying here a little at work looking at all of your fun posts. Your kids couldn't be luckier to have you as their Mom. This party is so cute! The cake? Seriously? Where did you find the ants? Gosh I love it all. It makes me wish I could go back in time and raise my three girls again . . . well maybe. :)
