UEA

Weekend "staycation" (new word for me) started with a trip to Kangaroo Zoo. It's a warehouse full of jump houses for the kids to play on, and a glow in the dark mini golf course. Sounds crazy and loud, right? WRONG! Last time we went they had this great little parents lounge with comfy sofas, and most importantly, A BIG GLASS DOOR to keep all the hoodlems out :) Well, unfortunatley, they turned this magical room into another kid room, so they moved all those sofas in the middle of the chaos. Even so, me and Frank managed to find a couple massage chairs that took us out of the madness for at least a few minutes!

Kids had a blast! Logan, Chase, Carly, and cousin Hannah had some fun too :)
We called it a night with a quick trip for ice cream at Spanky's :)
Friday morning, we got all the kids ready and told them we were going to have a picnic at the park. What we didn't tell them was that it was an AMUSEMENT park! They haven't been to Lagoon for a couple years (Carly's never been), so we thought it was about time. They were pretty excited to be there. I have to admit I was pretty pumped too. I {heart} rides! We were there right when it opened (frank took off work), so there were no lines, and the weather was PERFECT. We brought cousin Hannah so Carly would have someone to go on the rides with (a lot cheaper, and a whole less painful than actually having a 4th!)
Frank and I kept saying how nice it is to have kids these ages. Who knew the day would ever come that we could spend a whole day with no whining or crying??? Oh wait....there was just a little!
Turns out Carly doesn't fancy getting WET!
