LAVA AGAIN!

We were going to Boise last weekend and decided to head out a little early for some R&R in good old LAVA HOT SPRINGS! This little hole in the wall is like HOME for Frank...his happy place :) He's been coming here since he was in the womb!(that explains a lot ;)

We stay in the LAVA MOTEL. It's a humble nights sleep, but...

it's right across from the springs,

it's cheap,

it's tradition,

and it has a rockin heater

...that's all I really care about anyway.

We go sit in the hot pools for a couple hours. I spend half of the time sitting off to the side - too hot for my blood. Frank could stay there all day. The colder the weather outside, the better the pools feel. We love it when it's so cold that your wet hair turn into icicles!

We then head to our favorite little pizza place at the Royal Inn. Best pizza EVER - especially dipped in their a-m-a-z-i-n-g ranch dressing...YUM. Those hot springs sure work up a healthy appetite! Frank always puts classic Johnny Cash on the Juke Box - good times!

After that, we head back to our fancy motel and hudle around the heater. Frank heads out to the pools again with anyone else who'll go a second time (not me). This time, it was Logan and Frank while me Chase and Carly played some yahtzee, ate popcorn, and watched cartoons.

Seriously, one of our favorite vacations!
